Sriman Nityanand prabhu, before his appearance the place was very dry because it never rained but after his appearance it rained profusely and then crops started growing. I will tell something about his parents, Nityananda’s father name is Hadai pandit and his mother’s name was Padmavati. Nityananda prabhu’s father when he was not married, his father was the pujari of one Chakravarti king and used to worship Shivji and whatever he used to get from that was his source of earning. One day he said to his son, “Hadai, do one thing, I am not well so you go and pick flowers from king’s garden and he will do the worship, he agreed. There, Padmavati’s mother told her husband, “See, our daughter has now grown up and now we should get her married”. Padmavati’s father got upset and said my daughter is now becoming a burden for you, I only have one daughter and you are saying that she should get married and leave, what is this. He was very stubborn (Padmavati’s father) her mother said that you men don’t know, but I am a woman and I know other women heart, when our daughter has grown up she looks in the mirror every now and then that how beautiful she is, so from this we should understand that now she should get married. This was also said by Devaki ji for Subhadra so that time Vasudev maharaj also was upset and this same happened, he also asked that is her daughter a burden for her, she said, no, her daughter also looks in the mirror every now and then so we should get her married. So Padmavati’s father said that whoever he sees first will become the groom for her daughter, everyone was worried that he is very stubborn whatever he says he do it, so everyone was worried that what if he sees someone who is not qualified for her daughter. In those days, people used to wake up early and sleep early. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. So, he woke up early and was walking in his porch and infront if his house is the garden, Hadai pandit on his father’s order came to pluck the flowers so when he was plucking the flowers Padmavati’s father noticed him that a beautiful boy is plucking flowers he called him and asked, “Who are you?”, Hadai pandit was a bit scared about seeing a zamindar that morning, he told him that my father is the pujari (worshipper) of your Shivji, my father’s health is not good so he ordered me to pluck flowers from the garden so that us why I am here. Padmavati’s father asked him if he wants to get married to her daughter and asked if he is already married to that he said no and then asked him to get married to her daughter to that Hadai pandit said that he can’t say anything without his parents permission so whatever my father will order me I will only do that, he called the ratha and asked Hadai to sit on ratha with him and took him to his house and knocked the door, Hadai pandit’s father was very confused and asked what happened and said that, I had sent you for one day and you did some mischief but he was very obedient so why zameendar caught him and took him to me so he was scared thinking all this. Face is the index of mind, Padmavati’s father told him to not get scared. Listen, your son has no fault at all, you are frightened but there is no such thing for you to feel like that. See I came here for the reason that I want to get my daughter married to your son, so please give me permission for it. So that frightening thought was suppressed, but he thought, how would this marriage take place, it isn’t possible?

Why not possible?

The marriage relationship should happen with equal caste people. You are such a Kulin (noble descent, high caste) Bhramin , we aren’t as high caste as yours. You are so rich but we are poor. Especially when the bride’s side is too rich and the groom’s side, quite poor, then it gets very different after marriage. The bride may taunt a lot, there is a lot of ego in her emotions but then otherwise what will happen if the marriage doesn’t take place because they are Nityanand Prabhu’s eternal Mother and Father? But it is seen like this in this world. Then how will it take place, the marriage should take place between equal level caste people only. You have so many servants, and we are ordinary Pujari. Even on that your daughter lives in a rajmahal (palace), where there is a favorable, comfortable and convenient environment. We reside in a small hut, how will it be possible for your daughter to come and stay in a hut from her palace after marriage. Where will your daughter come and live? So I am sorry. Sir! I am not able to accept this marriage proposal from your side. He asked, “But why are you worried about it, she is my daughter, where would my daughter stay, that I will decide and make arrangements for it, you just have to say a ‘yes’ for accepting my daughter as your daughter-in-law and let your son get married with my daughter, everything else I will take care of. You don’t have to do any arrangements and don’t have to take any stress, neither you have to take stress, nor to give it (stress), I will arrange for everything. Repeatedly, when the bride’s father asked for the marriage, because he had made a vow, that whoever he sees first, that man will be selected for the marriage. So he kept asking for the permission to allow for marriage, just say yes somehow.

Okay finally! Agreed!

Now what happened, the bride’s father told his wife, and they saw that wow, the groom is so handsome! Now they made a palace for the bride, involved so much land into the palace and made it look like a top class palace and finally the marriage took place.

Now they asked Nityanand Prabhu’s father, Hadai Pandit, that you don’t have to do anymore worship in the temple near my palace. You may do the worship in this nearby Shiv Temple and not cover so much distance to worship near my palace, now that we are relatives of each other I cannot treat you like a servant anymore. Since the Shiv Temple is made nearby so please worship here only.

Talking to assembled devotees (Recently when we went to Ekachakra, there is a Shiv temple over there, close to Nityanand Prabhu’s house, those who haven’t been there can go with Srimati Uma Didi, she goes there frequently. I am very much tied with my duties so I won’t be able to go there).

So the Marriage took place and now when Nityanand Prabhu was born, there was immense rain and like the umbilical cord is cut from the mother to baby (umbilical cord cutting ceremony), there is a place in Ekachakra where the umbilical cord was stored carefully. There is a Swasti puja place over there and so many other worshipable places over there in Ekachakra. Now Nityanand Prabhu is growing up slowly and steadily. He used to enact the pastimes of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. Everyone thought, how does this small boy knows all these pastimes, we are so older than him and still we don’t know the details of these pastimes in this much details as him and Nityanand Prabhu became the leader.

What is Nityanand Prabhu saying :

“yatheṣṭhaḿ re bhrātaḥ kuru hari-hari-dhvānam aniśaḿ

tato vaḥ saḿsārāmbudhi-taraṇa-dāyo mayi laget

idaḿ bāhu-sphoṭair aṭati raṭayan yaḥ pratigṛham

bhaje nityānandaḿ bhajana-taru-kandaḿ niravadhi”

See my beloved brothers, just say Hari Hari from now on and no need to do anything else and I take the responsibility that I will get you through this material ocean.

Now as he grew up after the disappearance of his Gurudev Srila Lakshmi pati Tirth he respected Srila Madhavendra Puri pad as his Guru, even though Madhavendra Puri and Sri Nityanand Prabhu are God brothers Nityanand Prabhu is younger in age and Madhavendra Puri pad is elder in age hence Nityanand Prabhu respected Madhavendra Puri as his Gurudev. For example, my Guru Maharaj, Srila Bhaktivedant Vaman Goswami Maharaj joined Math in 1930 at the age of 9 years. Srila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupad gave him Harinaam but later on in 1937, he got initiated (diksha) from Param Gurudev Srila Bhakti Pragyan Keshav Goswami Maharaj, never did Srila Vaman Maharaj in his Guru Pranam Mantra pronounced the name of Srila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Prabhupad, he always pronounced the name of Srila Bhakti Pragyan Keshav Goswami Maharaj’s name only because Srila Bhakti Pragyan Keshav Goswami Maharaj is very near and dear to Srila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad and Vaman Maharaj was given Harinaam at a very small age by Srila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad, even though Srila Keshav Maharaj told Vaman Maharaj many times that you are my God brother but Vaman Maharaj never accepted that. Our Gurumaharaj, in the Guru Pranami Mantra, never mentioned Prabhupada’s name as guru. Instead, he only spoke of Param Gurudev, because Param Gurudev was very close to Prabhupada, also hari naam happened at a very young age, and Param Gurudev would often say, You are my guru-bhai. However, Vaman Maharaj would respond, No, I am your disciple.  Param Gurudev once asked Guru to compile a list of his disciples. The list was prepared, but Guru Maharaj’s name was not included. Guru Maharaj asked Param Gurudev, Where is my name? Param Gurudev replied, You are my guru-brother, your name will not be added to the list.”

Then Guru maharj said why are you saying this then param gurudev himself wrote gurumaharaj name at the top of the list. That’s why, despite their age difference, Nityananda Prabhu, who was younger, considered Madhavendra Prabhu, who was older, as his guru. Even if he is also a disciple of Lakshmipati.

When Lakshmipati Tirtha left the world nityanand prabhu travelled to every tirtha alone. People all over the world commit sins. They visit Tirtha, take a bath and wash away all their sin. They become Free from their Sins. This makes Tirtha Impure.To provide the status of Tirtha to the The tirtha Saints roam all the over the World.All the Tirtha Have come from the feet of Nityanand Prabhu that’s why he is also knows as Tirtha Prada .

Nityanad Prabhu is Visiting all the tirtha. Why? Laxmipathi Tirtha, is just an excuse, he had to provide Tirtha status to the Tirtha.When he came to Vrindavan he said Where is Kanha? Where is Kanha? He became possedd by the environment of Vrindavan. Then He hears an Aakashvani (Oracle)

You are searching for your kanha?

Kanha is not here.

“He made Vrindavan deserted (not a actual desert , he left vrindavan so vrindavan became very desolate opace ) and Nadiya blessed, so go to Nadiya, he came to Nadiya and hid himself in Ishadaan Nandacharya Bhavan. What is the meaning of Ishadhan,  if we break the words it is isha dhan udaan (ishadaan) just like  Braj mandal,  Mathura Mandal, and Vridnavan are all names of one dham and  Jagannath puri as Sankha Chetra,  Sri chetra,  Purushottam chetra and Puri dham so like this Nawdeep is also called as Gaur mandal, Sweta dweep,Navvan and radhavan. One mame is radhavan,Radhaji is isha,this is Radhaji’s van so it’s name is Ishadaan daan means garden, this is Radhaji’s garden and she created it from her mind.

How it got appeared,if there are not many gopis then Krishna can’t get the enjoyment, sometimes Krishna used to run somewhere and no one knew where he used to go without telling Radhanrani, she has many maid servants like Roop manjari, Rmana Manjari ,Rati manjar i etc,so she asked one of them to see where K rishna goes,the maid servant came and told,’ swaminiji he goes soemwhere there’ so Radhaji goes to the same place and Krishna hid himself and she saw that the entrance is very beautiful”.

Radhaji saw, it is Spring time and so many beautiful Amra(Mango) Kunja, Kathal(Jackfruit) Kunja and Coconut Trees are there and a beautiful river is flowing.

Oh that’s why my beloved Krishna comes here. Okay, I will also prepare such a Kunja. What’s there in Vrindavan? Kadamba Trees, Tamal Trees and Pilu Trees. And in Navadvip Dham there are Mango Trees, Jackfruit Trees and Coconut Trees.In Vrindavan there is Yamuna, in Navadvip it is Ganges. Radhaji created Navadvip Dham from her own mind, hence it is called as Radhavan (Radhaji’s own forest).

Radhaji is Isha (meaning Ishwari) and because it is her forest, this is called as Ishodyan and why is it called Ishodyan (second reason)? Here, there are 3 Ishvars. All the 3 Ishwars are hidden here, in Pancha Tattva, there are 3 Ishwars. “Ek Mahaprabhu aar Prabhu dui jan, Dui Prabhu seve Mahaprabhur charan”

One is mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya and other two lords (prabhu) are Nityananda and Advaita. They both are serving Mahaprabhu together. Nityananda prabhu was the first one to hide because he wanted his Krishna to come and find him, he himself did not go to Krishna. He said, “I am everyone’s servant, this is called as sevak abhiman and Krishna’s biggest quality is that he is bhakt vatsal, parent’s biggest quality is that they are santan vatsal. Parents love their child the most even if other’s child is living with them or they are more beautiful, qualified, obedient but still parents will give their will to their own child, this is not a fault but a quality in them”. So like this, gurudev is shishya vatsal (love their disciples the most) and more then that sevak vatsal. Mataji will say you are sevak that is why saying like this but what I have heard from my guru I am only telling that. So gurudev is shishya vatsal and more than that sevak vatsal. I have seen my guru maharaj, he was the servant of Srila Vaman goswami Maharaj so when his sevak left the world he cried so much that we couldn’t see him like this. Gurudev said, “See Navin, Vaman Maharaj is such a grave individual, we have never seen him cry and now he is crying so much for his servant”. Guru maharaj knew nothing, no medicine nothing. Gurudev told me, “See Madhav maharaj these doctors are so wierd, why? Because I am sick and they would not talk to me anywhere in America or Delhi they will talk to you for half hours so he said that gurudev you only say that I am your mother, father everything nurse, doctor if they will ask you about any medicine will be able to answer, he said, “no”, he knows nothing about that, so small child knows nothing but his mother knows everything so he agreed with his point that he won’t be able to answer of asked about medicines. So like this gurudev is sevak vatsal and Krishna is bhakt vatsal. When Ambrish Maharaj and Durvasa muni had a quarrel bhagwan took the side of Ambrish Maharaj, Durvasa said, “Prabhu in your mantra it is said that you consider and worship Brahmins as devta (demigod) and example is Sudama that how you washed his feets. I am not an ordinary brahamn, I’m brahamn by heart, right now i’m in vedic clothes by not taking my side you are taking side of a grahast (white-white cloth) and kshatriya’s side. He said, “Neither I am taking side of a sanyasi not brahamn not maharishi not white cloth not grahasti nor kshatriya. I am taking side of my bhakta, I am bhakt vatsal, I see nothing, I sold myself in hands of my bhakts.

Vasikarivanti pade nitya sat padiste pado ytha

Like a sati female on the power of her sattitva, she keep her husband hypnotized, can get things done according to her will, in the same way bhakt can do to me. As sati controls her husband same way bhakt control me and I dance on there tune, I am like this, so apart from Nityanand who can be a highest devotee, so what he did? He said, “I wont go”. You kept on, he searched me out, he got to search, now what mahaprabhu did? Mahaprabhu bring him and kept in Srivas pandit’s house. Nityanand is in biggest bhav. Sometime just by sitting on lap on Malini devi feed her milk as he was a kid so her breast was full of milk and sometime like a small kid run to Sachi mata’s home. Mahaprabhu saw arey and hold him in his arms and cover him as there are Vishnupriya and Sachi maiya there one day Nityanand came, ” Sachi maiya I’m hungry, I am hungry feed me”, there were 4 saundesh at home maiya gave it to Nitai , Nitai ate 1 piece and smashed 3 pieces and threw Sachi maa asked, “Nitai what you did? Now you will say maiya, I am hungry, now what do I feed you?” Right now I don’t have anything immediately.” She said, “What happened? You threw it in the dust, how will this happen? How will you eat?”, He said, “where did I throw it?” , she said, “There is nothing at home, there is not even one.” He said, “go mother go there, you will find it.” Mother go, one is gone all the rest are there, there is no dust, there is nothing. You picked it up and threw it away and then found it again. He said, “Mother, it is there.” go then himself brought it and said where is the dust ? This is described by Vrindavan Das Thakur in Chaitanya Bhagwat. Now next is, Shrivas Pandit is in the house. The man said, “I will have to speak only then.” So what happened, one day there was ghee in a bowl (devotee speaking). Hey, listen first. So the crow picked it up and took it away. The crow took away the small silver bowl of ghee, now the mother is crying, he was not there at that time, he has come now. Mother said, “why are you crying son?”, the crow took away my Thakur ji’s bowl of ghee now how will we serve prabhuji? God will come and scold me. He said, “are you worried about this, O crow, why did you take away my mother’s bowl, come and give it to me”. While speaking, the same crow came and gave the bowl so what is the tattva here? I am telling you that all the celebrations of all the living beings are from Baldev Prabhu. Now learn the first living being is the Nitya Siddha Parikars of Braj who came from Baldev ji. They cannot be called living beings like who is the biggest government employee of a country? The biggest officer is the Prime Minister of any country or the President of any country. Ones country’s Prime Minister or President like America’s President or India’s Prime Minister and even a sweeper is also a government officer and we can’t call Prime Minister as a sweeper though both are officers of the government and like this only the expansions which came from Nityananda prabhu ,we can’t call them jeev (a mere mortal) it will be considered as an offense and then Mulasankarshan, from his expansions came the eternal  residents or devotees of Mathura and Dwarka so they are also not mere mortals or jeev and after that Mahasankarshan from him expanded Matsya, Kurma and other avatars, they all are eternal not any mere mortals. All these three types of expansions or eternal associates do not know that there is a material world and we unfortunate souls also do not know about spiritual world and do not even have time to know and then from Karanodakshayi Vishnu expanded two types of jeevas. After that, Karanadakshai Vishnu, two types of living beings emerged from Him. One type of living being, when they looked up at the time of creation, went to Vaikuntha with their own feelings, they cannot go to Brij. Guru ji says that to go to Brij, one has to do sadhana (spiritual practice) in this world. Only then can one go to Brij under the guidance of a Rasik guru (a spiritual master who has experienced the divine love) and a Vaishnava, otherwise not. You cannot go to Brij, you can come down to Vaikuntha.” “After that, there is another type of living being in this world, who gets attracted to the charms and allurements of this world, and gets trapped. Just like me, and despite having all these people around me, I got trapped, and similarly, you people will also get trapped if you become like me. I can think for myself, but I cannot think for others. Therefore, this world is a place of bondage for living beings. Just like the crow that flew away with the food, Nityananda is present in everyone’s heart in the form of Paramatma (Supreme Being). When Nityananda says ‘go Go, take it!”, and Nityanand is the part of the part of the part of the Supreme Lord. When any Prime Minster orders that this has to be done, then his subordinates get it done anyhow. Likewise, Nityanand himself ordered Baldev Prabhu, so where will he go? So parmatma motivated him to take it and now Nityanand Prabhu is staying at Srivas Prabhu’s residence. The day when Chaturmasa begins is the day when Vyasa pooja is performed, appearance day of Vyasa. Mahaprabhu asked, “Where will be the Vyasa pooja organized tomorrow?”, So Srivas Prabhu replied, “At the place of a Brahman.” I’ll bring the instruction prescribed from someone. Who will perform the pooja? Sripada. He is the seniormost, he is the senior of all in the Guru Parampara. So Baldev Prabhu said, “Alright.”, So Nityanand Prabhu was sitting, what did He do in the night? Nityanand Prabhu was Sanyasi so at the residence of Srivas he broke the Dand (stick) into 3 piece Srivas saw  they were 4 brothers.Srivas, Ramayan, Shivhotti, shrinidhi, Go go and inform Nimai They informed him. Before braham muhurt ….came  Srivas what are you doing hm hmm Srivas along with brothers Ntai and mahaprabhu went to bathe in Ganga . After bathing Mahaprabhu float broken stick into Ganga came and went away Mahaprabhu…now in morning, it was getting late, everything is ready, no one have guts to say anything.Srivas are you doing Guru puja, Vyas puja?

Now when Mahaprabhu arrived

See your Srivas is not doing anthing, he is just doing hm hm, he is not doing any puja and he could not say anything else, he took whatever he had and performed the puja there and said my Vyas puja was done. Why did you do this? How far above Nityanand Vyas dev is, Nityanand is of the part of Prabhu. Vyas Dev is more grown up and give flowers to the child, will the child have some misfortune or not, it will happen, Nityanand Prabhu does it, if he is in the feeling of delusion then Vasudev will be cursed, that is a worldly feeling only but Mahaprabhu will do it to teach the world Mahaprabhu is performing Akāryavat leela, what will he do?  He will do everything, not just a nurturing leela, Nityanand when there is no feeling then one does like this, this is true, the puja has been done. First of all Vyas puja was started in Kaliyuga Nityanand Prabhu said, “But there is a great play in Mayapur Shrivas courtyard and Nitya, and I will end it in one hearing.”,  when Mahaprabhu came was Jagannath Puri done, Mahatma came first, he was liberated and Nityanand and other people were also there. When Mahatma goes, the saint does not go alone, he takes his son with him, sometimes he takes his brother-in-law with him. Nityanand Prabhu came, what did he do after coming, he went straight away on Night Vedi, the ‘Pandits’ were reading you are holding on, you are doing this, go away, go away  One day Nityananda came and went to Ratnabedi  (jewel throne) and was very strong towards the pandas that they were falling aside whosoever was coming near Nityananda Prabhu. Pandas were thinking that, what is this? who is this? Now they were saying that by Jagannatha’s mercy we were able to catch even the elephants how come we are unable to go near him. Now Nityananda Prabhu immediately went ahead and did alingan(hugged) of Baladev prabhu and took the garland from Baladeva’s prabhus neck. The pandas are again thinking that what is this? As after touching Baladev prabhu like that nobody can survive like this is he all okay and alive? Pandas allow to hold the lotus feet of Jagannath but quite scared of doing the same for Baladev prabhu. Nityananda Prabhu was smiling in his mind and was moving or going like a big mad-mast elephant. Everyone after seeing Nityananda Prabhu wanted to meet him with great happiness and used to give him lot of garlands and mahaprasad, class to be continued.
